Your Stay

Guests at the Avalon will find that the historic charm of this 100 year plus home has been preserved in spite of modernizations necessary to ensure the comfort of visitors.  There is a billiard room, a large living room with TV (direct TV) and “boat bar,” a dining room that can seat 12 and a large covered porch overlooking Vineyard Sound with the beacon of Gay Head lighthouse blinking on the far horizon.  We have 8 guest bedrooms, most have private baths with claw-foot tubs; shower baths are also available for guests’ use.  Twin, full, queen, and king beds are available and some of the larger rooms can easily accommodate couples with children.  We have shared cooking facilities for our guests that include everything you’ll need.
